The value of getting together cannot be overestimated.
We should take advantage of the opportunities we have, and prioritize time for camaraderie, creativity, and collaboration.
Our conferences are a time of joyfully renewing friendships, becoming inspired, and learning.
What do people say?
“I can’t wait for the next conference in 2023! It seems like so long ago that we all got together and made new friends. In 2019 I enjoyed watching the full moon rise over the fire pit with the Pensacola group.” ~Mary Ann Miller
When our Pensacola group arrived in the lobby for our first NLAPW/FSA conference in 2017, we found smiling faces and arms outstretched! It was an amazing reception and unforgettable feeling of love and friendship! There is a vibe or essence that transcends the norm and you know you are home with friends! An unforgettable experience! ~Mara Viksnins
“At the last conference, I connected with many talented women, and one connection sparked a collaboration with someone from another branch that's leading to a presentation in the upcoming conference. Connect-Collaborate-Create. That's what the conference is all about.” ~ Pat Black-Gould
“There's something for every Creative to learn and experience at the conferences -- besides the laughter and memories you'll carry home.” ~Janie Owens
“The state conference is like Alice’s ‘Wonderland, where you can ‘surround yourself with people who make your heart smile’ and you can celebrate and learn.” ~Wilma Davidson
“After hearing from and reading about Pen Women from all around Florida, the conferences are your one opportunity to meet in person, witness the members’ creativity with your own eyes and ears, and make lasting friendships. Meeting face-to-face is a whole different experience.” ~Caroline McKeon
